Texas Pete East West Grilled Pork Ribs
Ingredients:
5 pounds of Country Style Pork Ribs
Boil 2 gals water in a large pot and place ribs in when water
starts to boil, reduce heat to a simmer and continue to cook for
30 minutes. During this time mix the following ingredients
together in a large bowl or plastic bag.
1 head of garlic, peeled and chopped
1 2oz piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 cup brown sugar
1 6oz bottle of Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce
1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce
1/2 cup Oyster Sauce
2 cups ketchup
Immediately immerse the drained, cooked ribs into the above
sauce mixture, and marinate for a least 2 hours, better if
overnight. Cook ribs on a medium hot grill until crust forms on
both sides, using the remainder of the sauce to baste the ribs
as they are cooking.
This recipe also works well for other juicy cuts of meat such
as chicken quarters, chops, beef ribs, etc.
